Well, old trivia first: Congratulations to Rachel, the seventh (eight-pointed) star on the Australian flag stands for the number of states and territories. (And even though she didn't name them correctly, extra credit for creativity, and for making me laugh out loud at work!)

My guess is the kangaroo and the emu. Kangaroo because, duh, it's Australia. And emu because, duh, emus are super cool awesome and if I had a coat of arms the emu would totes be front and center.
